2023 brings the triumphant return of A Chair Affair to downtown Saint Albans. This year 17 downtown businesses are sponsoring and hosting chair(s) from July 7 through August 19. A QR Code and web link will be attached to each chair for the online auction. The auction starts on July 14 and will be open until 8 pm at the celebration party at City Hall Auditorium on August 19.
The Celebration Party is on August 19th from 6-9 and is a free event. A donation at the door, suggested $10, is encouraged. A cash bar and dessert bar will be available. Enjoy music, a drink, and dessert while you check out the chairs up close. You can make any last minute online bids at the party, we will even have stations to help. There will also be a silent auction items to bid on at the party.
The proceeds raised from this event will go directly to The Church Street Group. The Church Street Group is a non-profit that was brought together to raise funds to repair and maintain the Historic Church Street Buildings.
